Join us at Orangetheory Fitness in the Lloyd District in Portland, Oregon, for a challenging workout in a supportive environment. Our fitness sessions are 60 minutes long and focused on three main areas: treadmill interval training, indoor rowing machines, and weight room or resistance training blocks.
Backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), Orangetheory Fitness sessions have been constructed to keep your heart rate within a specified range to stimulate your metabolism and increase your energy. This results in the Orange Effect, which gives you additional energy and extra calories burned for up to a day and a half following your workout.
Whether your goal is performance-based or weight loss-related, Orangetheory Fitness can help motivate you along the way in your fitness journey. If you have a weight loss goal and are eating a proper nutritious diet, you can expect to see a weight loss of 3-5 pounds when you attend 3-5 gym sessions per week. If you have a performance goal, you can expect to see an increase of gains in your speed, power, and strength after your first two weeks of attending 2-4 sessions per week.
If you need a session time before work, on your lunch hour, or after work, we have various session times available throughout the day to work for you. All of our sessions are full of energy and unique, as we mix things up daily – so you don't get bored with the workouts and your body won't have a chance to plateau.

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.
Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
